The U.S. Bishops outline that “a Christian life lived with charity and faith is the most effective form of evangelization.” The Stewardship Committee of Christ the King exists to bring parishioners into a regular practice of sharing time, talent, and treasure and to promote the joy of giving in response to God’s call for stewardship. The Stewardship Committee has completed a capital campaign and seeks to share the stewardship journey with other parishioners. This will mean emphasizing the contribution of time and talent, as well as the treasure that was the focus of the capital campaign. The Committee seeks to support creating a Parish that is welcoming to all and has opportunities for diverse parishioners to engage in sharing their time, talent, and treasure. In its tasks to shepherd a stewardship plan, the Committee identifies several important areas of focus, including:
