An alum of both CKS and Lexington Catholic High School, Mrs. Bruggeman has demonstrated a true passion for Catholic education. Ann is a lifelong member of Christ the King Parish and eloquently expressed how her Catholic education has enhanced her own faith and formation. She considers being a servant leader in Catholic Schools a blessing, and she is committed to working with the faith community to fulfill the mission of Christ the King School.
In addition to being a Lexington Catholic alum, she has served in a variety of roles at LC over her 24 year career as a Catholic school educator. Most recently she has served as the Assistant Principal of Student Life and the Director of Exemplar Scholars. Throughout her tenure at Lexington Catholic, she has been successful in the science classroom as a teacher, a capable coach of tennis, a strong administrator as Assistant Principal & Assistant Athletic Director, and an innovative Director of Development & Alumni Relations. All of these roles have provided Ann experience that will be valuable as the principal at Christ the King.
Mrs. Bruggeman has a Bachelors of Science from Transylvania University as well as a Masters of Education from Georgetown College. Ann is married to Kevin Bruggeman and they have two children, Tony and Lucy.
