CTK Parish App

Our Parish App is available for both Apple (e.g. iPhone) and Android devices.  The detailed directions down below are for Apple devices but the Android install process is almost identical in terms of flow and even screen content.

If you are used to downloading and installing Apps from your App store, then you will just need the basic steps described here.  If you are less experienced, then we included more detailed instructions below the basic step descriptions.  Take your time and you should be fine.

The basic steps:

• FInd the App in your App Store (see details just below).
• Specify that you want to allow the parish to send notifications to you via the App.
• Accept the various categories recommended for Push Notifications (this allows the parish to send you text messages with news and events about the parish)
  • These can always be adjusted later but this is how we can alert you about upcoming events, schedule changes, etc.
• Allow specific location updates
  • This can also be adjusted later as you and the parish discover how we can take advantage of this feature.
• Create a profile for yourself to connect you directly with our parish system.
  • By creating a profile for yourself, it will connect your app directly into our parish data system that contains your personal/family data, including your giving history among other things.
  • As we begin to exploit the features of our new parish system and this app, making this linkage will allow us (and you) to be more personally connected into everything happening in our parish, including ministries you are supporting and/or participating in.
  • Follow these instructions to complete this profile setup.
    • In order to sign in to set up your new profile, as a security measure, you need to enter your mobile number and tap on the "SEND CODE" button.
    • Enter the six digit security code you received back via text in order to proceed.
    • If you enter the correct code, you will see a "NEXT" button appear and you tap it to finish things up.
• That's it.  The App should be installed and ready to go.  See last step below for a few hints/tips to learning how to navigate within the App.

What follows are the same steps but with more detail for those who aren't as familiar with the setting up of new apps on a mobile device.  If you are in that category, it may be helpful for you to do the setup of the App on your device while you can view this web page on a lap-top. 

ANDROID USERS:  CLICK HERE to get directly to the Parish App in the Google Play App Store.  The flow through the installation is virtually identical as for Apple devices.  The screens will have some very slight differences but you should be fine following the instructions below.
