As you experience the 9 Days of Power, at some point, you may feel compelled to dedicate and surrender your life into the hands of Jesus Christ. If you are already an intentional disciple, then pray this prayer as a re-dedication, a re-commitment to be open to the Holy Spirit's prompting to live the Gospel with the whole of your life!
If you have experienced the touch of God, been drawn into a deeper love of Jesus, and/or experienced the power of the Holy Spirit during these 9 Days of Power Novena event, please take a few minutes and share your testimony with us. Help us tell the world of the love God has for them and the life God desires for them to have. We may share your testimony at our Pentecost Sunday celebration event (2:30 PM).

The Nine Days of Power team has put this event together with no budget. Our speakers have been most gracious with their time and willingness to contribute their charisms/gifts to the cause. If you are blessed by this event, we would simply ask you to pray and, as God directs you, to help us defray our costs and help us provide some sort of thank-you to our speakers and all they have done to make this event what the Holy Spirit wants it to be for you.
You can make your secure, online donation here. Thank you for your generosity!
The Pentecost Novena was decreed by Pope Leo XIII on May 9, 1897 calling on the whole Church to pray for a greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus Christ. We are so glad you are here and hope you will join this event as we pray with the Apostles who spent nine days together anticipating what the Holy Spirit would do. Little did they know about would happen when, at Pentecost, they were overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and opened their hearts to the power of the Spirit.
This event is the culmination of almost two years of prayer and discernment of a number of people here in the Diocese of Lexington. We pray and anticipate a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we plead for God to bless us during these pandemic times and as we seek to be a part of a new Pentecost. We invite every individual and family to participate and celebrate the birth of the Church towards a new Pentecost.
This is a virtual-only, live-streamed event taking place 6:30-8:30 PM ET-USA each of the next nine evenings as shown just below. We are streaming on our Cathedral's web page, Facebook and YouTube Live (CLICK HERE FOR YOUR LIVE-STREAMING OPTIONS).
