The Facilities Manager is responsible for the entire operations of the Christ the King church and school buildings and grounds. This includes overseeing of the utilities and outside service providers, ensuring safety and cleanliness and executing preventative maintenance programs. This position manages a staff of full-time and part-time employees, including volunteers. The Facilities Manager works directly with the Property Committee, Parish Council & Finance Council and is the lead and point of contact for all capital projects. This role includes budget planning and oversight of maintenance expenses. This can be a physically demanding position, involving physical inspection of structures, bells, roofs and towers.

The Pentecost Novena was decreed by Pope Leo XIII on May 9, 1897 calling on the whole Church to pray for a greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus Christ. This year the Nine Days of Power will feature a Life in the Spirit Seminar that will allow all participants to learn about and experience the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit; to delve more deeply into the call to be a disciple of Jesus, directed and led by the Holy Spirit to build up the Church and minister powerfully into the lives of those in their sphere of influence.
