• This Saturday will be our last day of accepting material donations. 
• Financial donations will be accepted beyond Labor Day weekend and will be directed as need to the flooded areas by Catholic Charities.

We are coordinating our parish response with Catholic Charities of Lexington so we have an efficient, integrated response that meets the actual needs of those who are suffering so greatly now. Damon Sexton (ctkoutreach@cdlex.org or 859-285-8456) is coordinating our parish response with support from the Knights. We will have this information on our website as well.  Contact Damon should you have questions or need more information. Here is how you can help (please read all since there are things NOT being requested at this time):

Items that are being requested at this time:

• Gift cards, especially Visa or Mastercard - not all areas have the same retail outlets
• Rubbermaid or other plastic containers, especially in a size suitable for clothes storage
• Water Gallon jugs or larger (for cooking, coffee, bathing, etc)
• Cleaning supplies and toiletries
• Fans, extension chords, mold control products
• Camp stoves or other portable cooking devices, lanterns
• Tents, tarps, sleeping bags
• Shop towels
• Brooms, mops/buckets/flat shovels
• garbage bags 
• baby wipes/diapers/formula
• garbage cans
• Flashlights
• Batteries (all sizes)
• plastic or rubber gloves
• bleach

Please, no clothing or food at this time!

Financial donations can be made as well and this option will be open indefinitely. Click the button below and select the "Flood Relief in Eastern Kentucky" account for your donation.  You can also drop a check off at our parish offices as well.  Make the check out to the Cathedral of Christ the King and put "Flood Relief" in the memo line.
