Guided by Diocesan policies, directives, and recommendations, the following requirements are in place for all who want to participate in any public liturgies at the Cathedral.  Please be familiar with these requirements.  Failure to comply may result in you being turned away or being told to leave.  We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe, yet reverent atmosphere as we take all reasonable steps to allow us to come together safely as we worship.

• Admittance to Mass is based on the documented ticketing process.  Bring a paper ticket or have it on your mobile device to show to the ushers/hospitality ministers.
• Before leaving home, everyone coming to mass should screen themselves out of respect for everyone with whom they will soon be worshiping:
  • Check temperatures.  Anyone with elevated temperatures (100.5 degrees Fahrenheit or above) must not come to mass.
  • Anyone with any signs of infection or COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. fever, dry cough, chest tightness, sneezing, shortness of breath) must not come to mass.
  • Any person with these symptoms should stay at home, seek immediate medical care, or get tested.
• All entry to and exit from the Cathedral will be through Hehman Hall only. 
  • For your own convenience, park as close to the Hehman Hall entrance (off Providence Rd.) as you can.
• Masks should be worn at all times by everyone two or older who can wear them:
  • Masks should not be worn by infants under 2 years of age per CDC guidance
  • Those 10 or older must wear a mask
  • Parental discretion for those 2 to 10 years of age
• Those who are wearing masks should do so at all times while on our campus to protect others in case they are asymptomatic carriers 
  • You should have a mask on from the time you exit your vehicle until you are back in your vehicle
• Everyone in your household will follow the directions of the ushers. 
  • Ushers will seat individuals and families in specific seats so as to respect social-distancing requirements.
  • You will not be able to choose your seats. 
• Make sure your hands have been sanitized before you enter the building.  Doors will be propped open so you will not be required to touch the handles to open except for the restrooms.
  • The only bathrooms that will be unlocked at this time are the one at the Cathedral front door, the one next to the cry room, and the one in the sacristy.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are located throughout the Cathedral.  Please make use of them as you enter or leave.
• Your household should remain six (6) feet from other households once you exit your vehicle, while in line to check into Mass, during Mass including Communion, as you leave Mass, and until you return to your vehicle.
• Only those with tickets for the specific mass will be admitted when doors open approximately 25 minutes before the scheduled mass time.
• If you have ticket(s) but are not in line by 10 minutes before Mass, your seats may be given away to others present who are waiting without a ticket.
